2012 is the centenary of
the ill-fated maiden voyage of the Titanic. On Saturday April 21st at the
Potteries Museum, 2.00 - 4.30pm , Andrew Lounds will present THE RETURN OF
A DREAM - a highly acclaimed presentation of the story of the ship from her
conception in 1907 to her re-discovery in 1985. This emotional performance is
told with the use of costume, audio and visual effects and music. Andrew
has spent many years researching this subject and is an expert on all
aspects of it.

The Friends of the Potteries Museums & Art Gallery and the Northern
Ceramic Society are presenting a series of informal talks on ceramic
subjects by NCS members using the Museum’s extensive collections as a
starting point. Talks are short (20-30 mins or so, standing), free of
charge and will be held on the second Tuesday of each month in the
Ceramics gallery, beginning on 14 February 2012. Talks are at 12.30 and
1.30 and numbers are limited to 20 for each: please sign up at Reception
up to one month in advance.
